“ We meet the owners during an outing and got on the topic of food. I LOVE Mediterranean food, had some of the best and authentic when I was stationed overseas and some great deployment. While we live in Simi, the drive was more than worth it! The staff is great, friendly, and engaging. The food, of the food. I have had a lot of beef kabobs, but the meat here is exceptionally tender, and the flavor, omg! The FLAVOR. The Chicken Shawarma Wrap was amazing, too. The pitas were soft and just as I remembered from my travels, the cabbage in the wrap was flavored perfectly, and just delicious. Now... they have Greek Fries, and this is something new to us and glad we ordered them... DELICIOUS! One thing we noticed is that no matter who came in, it felt like they were welcoming family, including the three LAPD officers who came in for lunch. Oh, and I loved Zankou Chicken for years, but they have NOTHING, I mean NOTHING on Al Basch's chicken, hummus, or any of their other food!!! Don't let the strip mall fool you, the inside is beautiful, comfortable and as inviting as the people who work there. Whether you take a drive to get here, work in the area , or just a walk down the street, this is a must stop and worth every bite! ”

Come in and check it out for yourself... if you feel the food is bland... ask the mom for some sumac! That will definitely give you a citric taste with your chicken or meat!
